Great Tits (Parus major)

The blue tit (Parus caeruleus) along with the great tit (Parus major) is Britain's most common tit and definitely one of my favourite garden birds. Unfortunately, as with many small birds, their speed makes them a challenge to photograph. They are common throughout Europe except the far North.

The Great Tit (Parus major) is the largest of the tits, although slightly smaller than a house sparrow. Like the Blue Tit, it is common throughout Europe except the far North.
