The next picture is Derwent Water and Catbells, with Bassenthwaite Lake in the background. I'm determined to get a cloudless picture from here one day!

Castlerigg Hall & Stone Circle
The first three in this set were taken from Castlerigg Hall, near Keswick.
The following seven pics were taken in February 2007. I'd almost missed the whole thing with the camera but witnessed it while driving very slowly along the A66. Maybe amateur photographers should get a blue light to stick on top of their cars!
The Angel Of The North, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear.
These pictures of the Angel Of The North were taken on February the 18th 2008. We'd had some spectacular sunsets and was lucky enough to catch this one. More pictures of the Angel Of The North can be found on this page.
I try to avoid people in my pictures but included this couple to emphasise the scale of the Angel.
